METALLICA Perform 'Dyer's Eve' In Its Entirety For First Time Ever
March 6, 2004METALLICA performed the classic "…And Justice For All" track "Dyer's Eve" in its entirety for the first time ever during their March 5 appearance at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.
Speaking to the Alameda Times-Star last week, METALLICA frontman James Hetfield revealed that METALLICA's lengthy group-therapy sessions following his 2001 stint in rehab have helped the band become a more cohesive live force than they ever were in the past.
"Not to blow hot air up anyone's skirt, I feel we are tighter, more of a unit, and playing more intensely than ever before," Hetfield said. "In a way, it's kind of a bummer that we have discovered this connection at age 40, when our bodies can't handle the two-year tours or three shows in a row. But the connection that we have now blows away anything that I've felt before with this band."
